Ishita, born and brought up in India has graduated in Architecture and holds an honors degree from a reputed government university. She is a registered member of Council of Architecture.

She has been in the field of Architecture since 2011 and has gained more than five years of professional exposure in various cities and states. During her professional experience, she has performed numerous tasks and assignments from site measurements, schematic design and zoning studies to producing construction documents of architectural projects such as schools, apartment complexes, residences, retail shops etc, along with developing permit applications.

As the founder and Principal Designer at 27 Degree Architects she has also been responsible for Building liaisons including but not limited to Planning and building code queries, Submittals, Environmental Assessment among other aspects of Project management such as Coordinating with consultants and clients, finalizing building materials from flooring to insulation and facade paneling, coordinating bidding proposals for consultants, products etc. The plan check submission packages have helped her build knowledge of the various building codes and accessible design techniques. Construction drawings helped her gain a practical knowledge of building technologies and understand the different details involving the structural and building systems and their collaboration.

She has always focused on the functional and inspirational aspects of architectural space, thus developing modern, contemporary environments which are invariably evident from her work.
